Our accessibility commitment

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a target. We do not claim full or certified conformance, and some areas remain in progress. This statement is offered in good faith and describes what we do today and where we are still improving.

What we do

• Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main) so assistive tech can navigate the page.
• Text labels tied to every form control, so screen readers announce each field.
• Decorative icons are hidden from assistive tech; meaningful controls carry accessible names.
• Menus and dropdowns close on Escape and on outside click, and can be operated by keyboard.
• A dark theme chosen with color contrast in mind, and visible focus styles on interactive elements.
• Search progress is announced through live regions, so status is not conveyed by color alone.
• Responsive, zoomable layouts that reflow on small screens and at higher zoom levels.

Known limitations

We would rather be honest than over-promise. We are aware of areas that do not yet meet our target:

• Some newer and dynamic areas of the site are still being reviewed and improved.
• Content embedded from third parties may not always meet the same standard as our own pages.
• We are continually testing with keyboards and screen readers and fixing issues as we find them.
